Delete your account
A ReefRoutine account only exists if you signed in to Cloud Sync. Without one, all your data is on your device, and deleting the app deletes it.
In the app
- Open ReefRoutine and go to Settings → Cloud Sync.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email bastian.tangedal@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We do this within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address and display name.
- Your household membership. If you were the only member, the household's synced records and photos are deleted too.
- If other people are still in your household, the shared aquarium records stay with them, because they are their records too.
What is kept
- Records on your own device stay there until you delete the app.
- Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their own retention rules, which tax and accounting law may require.
